About this role
State Institutions Board (SiS) is a government agency responsible for individually tailored compulsory care for youth with complex psychosocial issues and adults with substance abuse. SiS also executes closed youth care. We do this at youth homes and homes for adults with substance abuse, across the country. At SiS, your work life will be an exciting challenge. SiS Youth Home Stigby on Visingsö has space for around 30 youth and receives non-compulsory school-aged boys with psychosocial problems, criminality, and substance abuse. We are divided into an MBB department (reception and needs assessment), four treatment departments, and we also have an aftercare unit in Jönköping.
Job Description
Do you want to be part of creating vital difference for vulnerable people? Then the job as treatment coordinator at SiS is a meaningful work. The starting point of our treatment work is to motivate people towards new and less destructive ways of living. You will work in a team of committed colleagues, and with your collective competence, you have the opportunity to achieve good results. As a treatment coordinator, you will plan, implement, and follow up program activities. You will conduct treatment conversations and have specific responsibility for documentation and the forms and instruments used in treatment. You will collaborate with various functions regarding mapping, establishing, and following up treatment plans. The assignment as treatment coordinator also includes additional responsibility for guiding new employees and interns. An important shared mission for all employees is to contribute to creating a safe environment and ensuring that institutional safety is maintained according to routines. The job is often demanding but also stimulating, joyful, and varied.

Qualifications
Your personal suitability is the key to vital change. Therefore, you need to have a good ability to create engagement and participation. Equally important is having a deeply rooted positive view of people, being empathetic, and able to create good relationships. You have good communication skills and can maintain your calm even in pressured situations. You also have a good ability to collaborate with others and are happy to share your knowledge with colleagues. In your role as treatment coordinator, you will have personal responsibility for several interventions in the treatment plan and responsibilities in the department that require experience and ability to coordinate that work. You need to be skilled at planning and structuring your work, able to work independently and take your own initiatives. Since treatment work is documented and discussed with several different actors, high demands are placed on good Swedish both verbally and in writing.
You should also have:
• Suitable university education, such as social worker, social pedagogue, or other care/behavioral science education, alternatively post-secondary education such as treatment pedagogue, with solid experience in program activities.
• Experience conducting motivation and treatment work individually and/or in groups.
• Good Swedish verbally and in writing.
• B driver's license

Employment:
The position is a permanent full-time employment and will begin with a six-month probationary period.
