State Institutions Board (SiS) is a government agency responsible for individually tailored compulsory care for youth and adults with substance abuse. SiS also executes closed youth care. We do this at youth homes and homes for adults with substance abuse, throughout the country. At SiS, your work life will be an exciting challenge. SiS Youth Home Folåsa receives school-age girls with psychosocial problems, criminality, and substance abuse. Job Description Do you want to contribute to vital change for vulnerable youth? Then the job as a psychologist at SiS Youth Home Folåsa is a meaningful challenge for you. Folåsa Youth Home has five departments with space for 31 youth. As a psychologist at Folåsa, your competence is in demand and important. As a psychologist, you are part of our healthcare organization and work with our MBB departments and treatment departments. The healthcare organization currently consists of five psychologists, two nurses, five treatment secretaries, and three family therapists. With us, you will have the opportunity to contribute to good care and treatment at individual and group levels through individual treatment contacts and by supervising treatment staff in client-close work. Additionally, you will conduct assessment interviews during admission, mapping, investigation, suicide risk assessments, structured risk and needs assessments, and responsivity assessments. You will also participate in treatment planning, cross-professional team meetings, and the institution's competence development through lectures and consultation to treatment staff on psychological matters. You are a crucial part of providing your colleagues with knowledge and tools regarding our youth's conditions. At Folåsa, treatment staff is trained in trauma-informed care (TMO), and our psychologists are responsible for TMO training and consultation across all departments. If interested and based on operational needs, there is an opportunity to work with method development and improvement projects. SiS offers good opportunities for skills development. There is an established collaboration for psychologists at the central level through annual conferences, and participation in various research projects may occur. You will have access to supervision in your work and work closely with existing psychologists. You will also work closely with other professionals at the institution, such as investigation secretaries, department management, and department staff, which requires good collaborative abilities. You have: • Very good knowledge of the Swedish language (spoken and written). • Basic computer skills and good computer proficiency. • Driver's license (B). It is meritorious if you have: • Experience working with youth. • Experience in treatment and investigation work. • Experience in treatment and investigation work in psychiatric settings. • Experience working with substance abuse, criminality, antisocial behavior, and/or psychiatry. • Experience from closed care settings such as SiS, psychiatry, correctional services, or similar. As a person, you are confident and stable with well-grounded, clear values that guide your daily work, while being adaptable to changing circumstances. You take responsibility for your tasks and drive your work forward. You also have good collaboration and relationship-building skills and communicate clearly.
