Do you want to make a vital difference for vulnerable people? Then the job as a treatment assistant at SiS is a meaningful challenge. The goal of your assignment is to motivate our youth/clients towards new and less risky ways of living. As a treatment assistant, you are employed to provide care and treatment. You contribute to ensuring that the routines on the unit function as they should. You play a significant role in the stability and security of our youth/clients, and provide the foundation of daily life (schooling, cleaning, cooking, etc.). You help maintain order and safety at the institution according to our routines. Documentation is an important part of your work. You will work on building secure relationships and help our youth/clients obtain the security they need to break ingrained behaviors. Together with your team of committed colleagues such as treatment educators and treatment coordinators, you have the opportunity to achieve good results and contribute to change. The job is often demanding but also stimulating, joyful, and varied.

Working hours are according to schedule, including days, evenings, and weekends.
As a new employee, you will undergo SiS Rebecca's introductory training. The training alternates between theory and supervised introduction, equipping you for the treatment role in SiS operations.
Qualifications
Your personal suitability is the key to vital change. Therefore, you need to have a good ability to create engagement and participation. Equally important is having a firmly rooted positive view of people, great empathetic ability, and the capacity to create good relationships. You have strong communication skills and can remain calm even in pressured situations. You also have the ability to collaborate with others and are happy to share your knowledge with colleagues.
You should also have:
• Minimum 2-year post-secondary education from a folk high school, vocational college (KY/YH), or other equivalent education. The education should be focused on social work, social pedagogy, behavioral science, or another relevant subject area.*
• B driver's license
• Excellent Swedish in speech and writing
Meritorious:
• Experience from client-facing positions in Criminal Care, e.g., Correctional Officer
• Security guard training
• Experience from client-facing positions at the Migration Agency, e.g., case officer at Detention
• Education in healthcare and care
• Experience working with our target group (e.g., addiction care, youth care, young girls, etc.)

*Exceptions to the requirement of at least two-year post-secondary education can be made in individual cases if there are special reasons according to Chapter 5, Section 4 of the Social Services Ordinance (2025:468).

This is a temporary position. Commencement according to agreement. Recruitment will be ongoing.
