Signal Protection Manager

County Administrative Board is the government's representative in the county and coordinates regional development work. The unit is responsible for the operational areas of registry, archive and service, security, finance and procurement, personnel, and support to the county management. The unit is divided into five functions. The Signal Protection Chief position is placed in the security function, which is led by a function manager who is also the security protection manager. The security function's task is to develop, direct, and coordinate the authority's internal protection and security work within the areas of information security, personnel security, physical security, security protection, and signal protection. Job Responsibilities As Signal Protection Chief at the County Administrative Board, you will work both operationally and strategically within the mentioned areas of responsibility. As Signal Protection Chief, you will collaborate and support our registry, which operationally functions as a signal protection office, as well as other parts of the authority assigned signal protection systems. The security function has four employees, so collaboration within the function's areas of responsibility is crucial. Your Areas of Responsibility: Signal Protection - Lead, coordinate, and administer the authority's signal protection - Plan, lead, and implement various signal protection projects - Ensure signal protection is conducted according to applicable rules in the area - Educate, provide support and advice to the authority's various operations regarding signal protection issues - Develop routines and guidelines. Command Post - Responsible for the authority's command post - Project manage development work at the command post together with MSB and contractors - Participate in operational and maintenance work - Collaborate with other units and their needs regarding the command post. Management Systems and Communications - Coordinate and administer the authority's work within management and communication systems - Operation and maintenance of communication systems. Qualifications We are looking for someone who has: - Approved Signal Protection Chief training - Relevant university/college or vocational education for the position, or equivalent work experience assessed by the employer as comparable - Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing - B driver's license. It is meritorious if you have: - Experience working operationally within operational protection, information security, and security protection in public operations - Experience with operation and maintenance of command posts.
