At the unit for preventive children and youth work in Skärholmen, you will have the opportunity to engage in development-oriented preventive activities focusing on early interventions.
Our unit includes youth centers, outreach work, school social workers, parent reception, social intervention groups (SIG), social workers with the police, SSPF, and aftercare projects. The unit is part of the preventive and promotional area, which also includes leisure activities. The area is currently in an exciting phase as we are intensively working to design methods to meet the new social services legislation and the needs of the district. We are now seeking a SIG/SSPF Coordinator for the Crime Prevention Group, which consists of SIG, SSPF, aftercare projects, and social workers with the police. The position is combined, and you will work with social intervention groups (SIG) as well as with a younger target group regarding the collaborative model SSPF (Social Services, School, Police, and Leisure).
We are looking for someone interested in working with both youth and adults and contributing to the development of social intervention groups. The target group for the social intervention group and SSPF includes individuals aged 10-29 who commit crimes, are at risk of developing or have developed a criminal lifestyle, are in criminal environments, or are at risk of being involved or are already involved in violent extremism.

Your role
In the role of SIG/SSPF Coordinator, you will primarily work on:
- Outreach to establish contact with users in need of interventions
- Motivational work, as a significant part of the job aims to encourage users to accept support from social services or others who can assist them
- Coordination, including establishing action plans with users and other involved parties and holding regular network meetings
- Conducting individual conversations with users
You will also be responsible for collaboration within the framework of SSPF.
The work involves evening shifts in socially vulnerable environments.
Your qualifications and experience
- Degree in Social Work
- Experience in authority exercise within IFO Children and Youth
Meritorious
- Training in Criminality as a Lifestyle
- Training in RePulse
- Experience working in vulnerable areas
- Experience working with children and youth exhibiting norm-breaking behavior
The role requires good collaboration skills and the ability to create and maintain relationships. You take responsibility for and independently drive the work forward, both in a structured and goal-oriented manner. It also requires a flexible approach.
The position includes a background check, and applicants must present an extract from the police criminal record before employment can occur.
