Your Role
As a Shopper Insights Analyst, your primary mission is to deliver in-depth analyses and insights that form the basis for Lidl's commercial strategies. You will act as an internal expert and consultant, ensuring that market insights, data, and customer understanding permeate our decision-making processes, always with the customer in focus.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Analyzing the market and competitors using various sources and tools. Presenting potentials and action proposals based on your findings.
• Acting as a proactive insights support and collaborator for departments such as purchasing, campaigns, supply chain, and marketing.
• Creating, presenting, and implementing standard reports, as well as establishing reporting structures and processes.
• Contributing to the development and implementation of both national and international analysis and insights concepts and processes in close collaboration with our parent company.
• Conducting 360-degree analyses by linking external analyses with internal data sources.
• Designing and executing local Shopper Insights projects.
Your Profile
We are looking for someone who loves diving deep into data and has the ability to transform complex analyses into clear, actionable proposals that drive both development and sales. Your analytical sharpness is complemented by a proactive work approach. Additionally, you possess excellent communication skills to persuade and anchor your insights throughout the organization.
Furthermore, we expect that:
• You hold a master’s degree in a relevant field such as economics, industrial economics, or social sciences.
• You have strong skills in Excel/Google Sheets and PowerPoint/Google Slides – they are your best tools.
• You are well-acquainted with key performance indicators and various forms of analysis.
• You are fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written, and have good knowledge of English.
We consider it an advantage if you also have:
• Work experience in Shopper Insights and/or Customer Insights Management, preferably within the grocery retail sector and/or retail.
• Good knowledge of German.
• Experience with advanced work in Google Workspace (Sheets/Slides).
