The Department of Children and Education encompasses preschool, primary school, adapted primary school, after-school care, high school, and adult education. Our department currently employs over 200 staff members.
We lay the foundation for lifelong learning by providing safe care and stimulating learning environments. We actively work with guiding interactions and base our efforts on the conditions and personal abilities of the children and students.

We are now seeking a teacher who, together with other colleagues, wants to continue developing Komvux in Lekeberg Municipality. In adult education, we welcome students with various prior knowledge who, after completing SFI (Swedish for Immigrants) education, choose to enter the workforce or continue to further studies. In the role of a teacher at Komvux Lekeberg, you will conduct teaching through a student-centered approach tailored to individual prior knowledge. The assignment includes performing knowledge mapping for planning further educational interventions. You will also work with planning, assessment, and individual study planning.
We expect you to have a clear pedagogical ability and a strong commitment to adult learning and development.
As a teacher at Komvux Lekeberg, you will teach both in combination programs and regular vocational training, as well as in SFI.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with one of the following qualifications:
• A subject teacher degree with a focus on teaching in grades 7-9 of primary school, or a subject teacher degree with a focus on teaching in high school if the degree includes the subject Swedish as a second language (or you have a degree and are awaiting your certification)
• A primary teacher degree with a focus on teaching in grades 1-3 of primary school or with a focus on teaching in grades 4-6 if the degree includes at least 30 higher education credits in the subject Swedish as a second language (or you have a degree and are awaiting your certification)
• An older degree for teaching the subject Swedish as a second language
• An education that qualifies you to teach as a teacher, provided you have supplemented that qualification with at least 60 higher education credits or equivalent in the subject Swedish as a second language
Additionally,
• Qualification to teach in other subjects at the basic or upper secondary level with at least 90-120 higher education credits
• Experience working with vocational training in combination with SFI and Swedish as a second language
We also require that you have:
• Experience teaching adults in Swedish as a second language or SFI
• Experience teaching in other subjects at Komvux
• Knowledge of using digital tools in education
You are highly accustomed to flexible solutions, innovative, and motivated to support and lead people. Furthermore, you have a strong commitment and good interpersonal skills. You possess a good ability to collaborate and can drive independent work. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
