Västanhede is a Swedish, privately-owned group with its heart in Dalarna. The group consists of around ten companies of varying sizes and industries, with passenger transport as our core business. We are looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable service technician/mechanic for our bus workshop with experience in heavy vehicles!
Your Responsibilities
As a service technician, you will work with the service, troubleshooting, and repairs of buses. You will actively participate in ensuring that our vehicles maintain the highest operational reliability and quality.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who has:
• Vehicle mechanic education or equivalent training
• Experience working with heavy vehicles
• Proficiency in using a computer for fault diagnosis
• Good social skills and the ability to collaborate
• Attention to detail and patience in your work
• Basic environmental knowledge
• Preferably good technical English skills (many manuals are in English)
• A driving license with at least category B; category D is an advantage.
