Job Description
Are you a service-oriented and technically skilled person who appreciates business travel? Do you also enjoy taking great personal responsibility and want a customer-focused and varied role with excellent opportunities for personal development? Indukta Technologies AB in Viared, outside Borås, is seeking a Traveling Service Technician!
In your role as Service Technician, you will work with installation and service of all machines in Indukta Technologies' product range. You will primarily do this at their customer sites throughout Sweden. The work primarily involves machine installation, providing support/service, troubleshooting, and maintaining close contact with the company's customers.
During onboarding, you will be trained on their machines, after which you will gradually start making customer visits. Indukta Technologies will coach and guide you to provide the best possible conditions for success in your work.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Machine maintenance and repair
• Machine installation
• Independent responsibility for quality, safety, scheduling, reporting, and execution
• Internal feedback, follow-up, and reporting
• Improvement and development work
• Customer contact and ensuring positive, productive collaboration
Travel is a natural part of the position (approximately 90-100 days/year, including 40-50 overnight stays) and requires the ability to be away from home and comfort with this lifestyle.
Qualifications
We are seeking candidates with a high school diploma or higher in electronics, mechanics, or a related field. You should have at least a few years of experience in a similar role, preferably in an international environment and/or a position involving frequent travel.
We believe you have a strong technical interest, commitment to learning new things, and good experience with machine maintenance and repair. You should be fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written, and hold a standard driving license (B-license).
As a person, you are service-oriented, technically knowledgeable, and have strong personal drive. You enjoy taking significant personal responsibility and working independently, systematically, and solution-focused.
You will be one of the company's external faces, so we place great importance on your personality and service skills.
