Work Tasks and Responsibilities – Service and Installation of Industrial Ports & Door Systems In this service technician role, you will work with service, troubleshooting, and repair of Hörmann's wide range of ports, gates, docking stations with loading bridges, and weather seals for our customers. You will efficiently plan your workday together with our service coordinator, service manager, and technician colleagues. During your workday, you will ensure that work is conducted according to applicable safety regulations and report and document in the company's digital system. Key Responsibilities: • Preventive maintenance, improvements, and repairs for customer products • Troubleshooting and addressing operational disruptions • Customer contact and technical support on-site • Additional sales by identifying improvement opportunities • Standby work is part of the role Qualifications and Experience: • Technical work experience, preferably in automation, electrical, and mechanical fields • Valid B driver's license is required • Experience with ports, doors, gates, or elevators is advantageous • Good understanding of drawings, manuals, and instructions • System proficiency and ability to work with digital reporting • Safety awareness and ability to follow processes and routines • Fluent Swedish is required; English is an advantage Personal Qualities for Success: • Responsible, initiative-taking, proactive, and self-driven • Customer-focused and professional in customer interactions • Flexible and solution-oriented • Willing to share knowledge and experiences with colleagues • Good at collaboration and contributing to team spirit Hörmann Offers: • Work with competent colleagues in an independent role with our and other manufacturers' products • Continuous professional development internally and externally • Service van used for direct travel from home to customer sites • Opportunity to develop in a market-leading company valuing safety, quality, and customer focus • Inclusive work environment that values engagement and ideas Employment Details: • Position Type: Permanent, starting with a probationary period • Work Location: Travel within district, preferred residence is Örebro • Working Hours: Daytime, Monday to Friday Application Process: Ready for your next technical service challenge and want to join our committed team?
