Responsibilities
As a service technician, you will work with the service, repair, and assembly of industrial lifting equipment—from smaller hoists to complete overhead crane systems and lift tables. No day is the same, and you will use both your mechanical and electrical knowledge to solve various technical challenges.
You will be responsible for the installation of new systems, service and preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, problem-solving, repair, and modernization of existing lifting systems. In this role, you will work independently in the field in southern Sweden, with daily customer contact and varying workplaces. The job involves travel, primarily during the day, but sometimes also requiring overnight stays. You will start with a service vehicle from home or from the office in Ängelholm. The role requires flexibility and involves working at heights.
• Service and preventive maintenance of lifting equipment
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving in both mechanics and electrical systems
• Repair and modernization of existing lifting systems
• Installation of new systems
Education, experience, and personal qualities
• High school or vocational education in electrical engineering, mechanics, vehicle technology, or equivalent experience
• Good mechanical and electrical knowledge in maintenance and troubleshooting
• Preferred: experience in the lifting industry and electrical competence
• Good computer and system skills
• Proficient in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Valid driver's license (B)
