Job Responsibilities As a service technician, you will be responsible for ongoing maintenance and repairs of elevators on your own route, ensuring service is performed according to applicable intervals and troubleshooting operational stoppages from customers. You will conduct preventive maintenance and suggest repairs to minimize operational disruptions. You will have customer contact with clients who may also be building users, operations staff, technical operators, property managers, etc. You will collaborate with OTIS management and colleagues. Your daily tasks may also include other work within our operations, such as modernization of elevators. You will be part of our on-call service. Education, Experience, and Personal Attributes • Practical high school education in fields such as electrical or technical studies or similar. • A minimum of 5 years of experience working in the industry, primarily with elevator service, is required. • Experience in troubleshooting is an advantage. • Valid driver's license (B category). • Experience working with computers and smartphone applications across various systems is desired, as computer work is involved. • Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written, with strong reading comprehension. • Ability to communicate in English, both spoken and written, with good reading comprehension. Additional Information and Conditions • Employment: Permanent position (6 months probationary period). • Salary according to agreement and collective bargaining agreement – Installatörsföretagen, SEF. • Access to a service vehicle according to applicable vehicle policy. • Start: Immediately, as agreed. • Working hours: Full-time, 100%, from 07:00 to 16:00. • On-call duty every 6 weeks outside regular working hours is included in the position when you are ready to work independently.
