Your main responsibilities
As a Service Technician, you play a key role in ensuring the operational reliability of AVISEQ's communication systems for air traffic. You will be involved in the operation, troubleshooting, as well as preventive and emergency maintenance of our radio and communication systems. The work is performed both on-site at Visby Airport and in the field at nearby airports. On-call duty and overnight stays may be included in the position.
You can also develop in several technical areas such as navigation systems, meteorological equipment, IP networks, and radar systems. AVISEQ offers the necessary training and certification for these specialized systems.

Who are you?
We are looking for someone with a technical background, either through a three-year vocational education in technology or a bachelor's degree in engineering. You preferably have experience in radio technology, both analog and digital electronics, as well as mechanics. Previous work with telecommunication systems is a significant advantage. You are accustomed to working with PC-based support systems and following technical instructions. Experience with radio, airport, or aviation systems, as well as electrical knowledge, is meritorious.
As the position is security classified, Swedish citizenship is required, along with a completed background check and an approved security clearance.
As a person, you are technically inclined, meticulous, and self-driven. You take responsibility, act solution-oriented, and communicate clearly. You work in a structured manner, have a good understanding of documentation and quality, and thrive in an environment where safety is paramount. You are proficient in both Swedish and English, both spoken and written, and hold a valid B driver's license.
