Service Technician Role We are seeking someone who wants to take a comprehensive approach to service work in Mälardalen, with a special focus on the pharmaceutical industry in the Uppsala area. You will work closely with our customers and other actors in an industry that places high demands on quality, documentation, and service.
The role is an important addition to support our service technician in Jönköping and service manager in Örebro, and simultaneously represents a strategic investment to secure more service contracts and deepen our customer relationships.
Service Technician is a crucial role that contributes knowledge to both customers and colleagues. The role significantly impacts perceived quality and service level, creating customer value and additional sales opportunities. Broadly, you will have the following responsibilities:
• Perform service, installation, repairs, maintenance, and troubleshooting of process equipment - primarily pumps
• Drive service projects, write technical documentation, reports, and summaries
• Register customer orders / Create order documentation
• Complaint assessment
• Conduct external and internal practical training
You will be based in new facilities in Boländerna, Uppsala, currently under construction.
In this role, you'll have great opportunities to work with continuous improvements and develop the service function. We work closely with our manufacturers and offer comprehensive skills development to provide the best possible conditions for your success.
Who are we looking for? You have a technical background, preferably with experience in industrial service, mechanics, or automation. We seek someone with strong administrative skills and proficient in the Office suite. You have experience driving, implementing, and documenting service projects. Additionally, you have experience with similar tasks and customer interaction. Knowledge and experience in hygiene and pharmaceutical production is merit-worthy.
We believe you:
• Have experience with service and maintenance in industrial production
• Can speak and write Swedish and English fluently
• Are experienced with documentation and reporting
• Have a driver's license (B-class)
• Enjoy traveling for work
Personally, you are socially competent and skilled at interacting with people. You are communicative and enjoy conveying the company's business idea, added values, and fundamental principles. You excel at identifying customer needs and finding solutions, and can handle multiple tasks simultaneously. You will have a close mentor at the beginning of your employment, our service manager, Daniel Almer. You'll receive a comprehensive onboarding with both theoretical and practical training. Practical training will take place in our other service centers (Örebro and Jönköping) and with customers.
