About this role

Scania Sverige AB is a company within the Scania Group and a distributor of Scania's products and services in the Swedish market. Scania Sverige is responsible for a wide range of products and services, including sales and service through a network of approximately 90 Scania facilities and 2,000 employees, nearly 1,000 of whom work in the company's own dealership operations in the metropolitan regions of Stockholm, Gothenburg, and Malmö, as well as in Gävleborg, Dalarna, Södermanland, and Västmanland. The headquarters is located in Stockholm, Kungens Kurva. In 2024, Scania Sverige registered over 2,300 heavy vehicles, becoming the market leader in Sweden with a share of 48.7%. About the Role Are you passionate about vehicles and five-star service? Are you ready to take on the most important role at a dealership? Are you the service advisor of the future? Here is your opportunity to take on a role in an industry with exciting development. You will be the face of the dealership, representing the company with your friendly demeanor and knowledge. We are now looking for a new team member for our workshop in Uppsala. Your Responsibilities As a member of our service team, you will play a key role in the relationship between our customers and the workshop. You will have a broad and varied job with significant responsibility and many points of contact. Our customers are our top priority, which is why we see this role as central to our organization. It is important that all customer interactions are conducted in a friendly, professional, service-oriented, and helpful manner. Focusing on the customer, understanding and transforming their needs into value-creating solutions, and maintaining a positive brand image are important aspects of the role. In this position, you will have the opportunity to contribute to identifying potential customers and creating sales opportunities where Scania can add value for the customer and be profitable. Your tasks will include receiving customers in person and over the phone for service advice and booking repairs. Daily administration, such as invoicing, is also part of the job. As a member of the service team, it is natural for you to assist your colleagues with tasks such as parts flow and administration, both within the workshop and parts department. Who You Are You have at least a high school education or equivalent work experience with an interest in vehicles and providing service. We value previous experience in service work, and we prefer candidates with experience from the automotive or transport industry. Having good knowledge of vehicle technology is also highly advantageous. Computer skills are required as the job involves good system understanding in many aspects. You are service-oriented, business-minded, and possess strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing. You have an open attitude and treat customers, colleagues, and others with respect. Organization and order are second nature to you as you are accustomed to delivering results. You also understand that your positive attitude can resolve tricky situations when the customer is the focus. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and value collaboration with your colleagues. You contribute with a good sense of humor and a strong work ethic, and your input with good ideas in our improvement work is welcomed. You speak and write fluently in Swedish and have a good command of English, both spoken and written. A valid driver's license (category B) is a requirement. Who We Are We are a team of friendly and skilled colleagues in the workshop, parts, and sales departments. Together, we help each other grow with the tasks and develop both in our careers and as individuals. What Scania Offers Benefits include wellness grants, the possibility of a company car, and lunch benefits through Edenred. Where work allows, we apply flexible working hours and remote work. We have a benefits portal with discounted prices on products and services, Scania's Employee Support, salary exchange options, as well as advantageous occupational pensions and insurance. With a structured development plan and courses, Scania supports your personal development, and career opportunities exist both locally and globally. If you want to grow with us, all paths are open to you. Application Your application should include a CV, a cover letter, and proof of qualifications. We welcome all applicants and strive for diversity in our recruitment processes. Please apply as soon as possible, no later than December 31, 2025. Selection and interviews will be conducted continuously during the application period.
