Do you want to be part of the team that ensures everything runs smoothly at our Visby office? With us, you will play an important role where, with technology, a service-oriented mindset, and a great sense of responsibility, you ensure that our premises are safe, pleasant, and in top condition – every day. Does this sound like something for you? Then this could be your next challenge!
What will you do?
As a Facility Service Employee in Visby, you will have a crucial role in ensuring that our physical work environment is both pleasant and functions as it should – every day. This is a part-time position at 60%, and you will be part of our Facility Management team that keeps our premises in excellent condition.
You will work on a schedule between 8 AM and 4 PM, and you will have significant responsibility. This means you will be involved in making many decisions with the team and independently – you will always have the team backing you.
You will:
• Contribute to ensuring that everything within the team's area functions, from office chairs to ventilation.
• Coordinate craftsmen, schedule the right expert at the right time, and be the one who keeps the practical aspects together.
• Be able to handle minor repairs yourself, move furniture, and ensure that technology and furnishings are in the right place.
• Keep track of keys, locks, and access cards together with the team for physical security.
• Ensure that our indoor climate is energy-efficient and comfortable.
• Perform inspections and participate in assessments of fire alarms, electrical systems, plumbing, and other technical systems related to the operation of the property.
• Drive the daily fire safety work within your area of responsibility as a facility manager.
• Assist with network cabling and other wiring, and be responsible for keeping a good overview of other installations in the building, such as electricity, water, etc.
• Manage supplier contacts, follow up on contracts, and ensure that invoices are handled smoothly.
• Support the front desk with tasks such as mail and goods handling when needed.
In short: you help ensure that it is easy for others to do their jobs because you have already made sure that everything around them just works. A reliable colleague who is in control, simply put.
Are you the one who will do this?
To thrive in this role, we believe you enjoy rolling up your sleeves, have an eye for detail, and find it rewarding to make things run smoothly for others. You are simply someone who gets things done – and whom others enjoy working with.
We hope you bring:
• A few years of experience working with property management and operations. If you also have experience with pool maintenance or technology related to pools, that’s a plus!
• Good computer skills – you are comfortable using the Office suite.
• A strong sense of service and customer interaction.
• A technical eye and interest in understanding how things work.
• A willingness to collaborate, but also the confidence to make independent decisions when necessary.
• Knowledge of fire safety (SBA) and systematic work environment management (SAM).
• A high school diploma as a minimum. If you have studied further in property management or operations, that’s great, but not a requirement.
You don’t need to know everything from day one – but you are someone who is eager to learn, likes to stay informed, and is not afraid to get hands-on.
