About this role

We are currently seeking a Service Leader to join our team, a key role where you will lead field service technicians, plan resources, and ensure our customers receive top-class service. About the Role As a Service Leader, you will be responsible for planning and distributing the daily work for our service technicians. You will lead both the operational and administrative aspects of service assignments, installations, and maintenance at customer sites. You will also serve as an important contact for customers and subcontractors (UE), providing support to our colleagues in service, rental, and sales. As a Service Leader, you will also perform tasks ranging from service and maintenance to the installation of new and temporary pumping solutions in the field for our customers. You will report to our Service Manager and be part of a team characterized by collaboration, a passion for technology, and a strong desire to make a difference. Your Main Responsibilities • Plan and allocate resources for service assignments and ensure high-quality delivery. • Manage work orders and ensure they comply with our procedures in SMX. • Actively sell service and maintenance agreements, as well as create quotes and close deals. • Coordinate service efforts with both internal resources and external partners. • Strengthen and maintain customer relationships. • Conduct service and maintenance in the field. • Support Rental managers within the regions. • Contribute to improvement initiatives in quality, 5S, and EHS according to Xylem’s central strategy. We Are Looking For Someone Who Has • Experience in a technical leadership role, preferably in service, maintenance, or installation. • The ability to plan and lead teams in a field-oriented work environment. • Strong communication skills – both internally and externally. • An understanding of sales and quotation processes. • A structured approach to work and a drive to develop both the team and work methods.
