The cleaning department is a part of Regionservice, employing approximately 120 staff across 5 divisions. We work to keep our facilities clean, but above all, to minimize the spread of infection. This is a job that contributes to societal benefit!
We are now seeking two new employees for our deep cleaning department.
JOB DESCRIPTION
As a cleaner with us, you play a vital role in creating a clean and pleasant environment for both patients, visitors, and staff.
Working in deep cleaning means ensuring that our facilities are in good condition. You will work in teams of 2, so you need to enjoy working collaboratively. Your tasks will include dusting, removing stains from walls, and performing floor care in our departments, reception areas, and common spaces at Växjö Hospital, in the Sigfrid area (including forensic psychiatry), as well as health centers and public dental care in Växjö and surrounding areas. We also perform construction and relocation cleaning.
The tasks can be physically demanding, so you need to be in good physical condition and enjoy being active. It is important to us that you, as an employee, thrive and have a sustainable work life, which is why we continuously work on our work environment.
QUALIFICATIONS
It is an advantage if you have a high school diploma and experience in the field. You must be at least 18 years old by the time you start working.
We are looking for someone with drive and commitment who wants to influence and develop the department moving forward. What we value highly is that you have a good demeanor, a willingness to develop, are responsible, meticulous, have good teamwork skills, and are physically fit.
You need to have good knowledge of Swedish in speaking, reading comprehension, and writing, as well as some computer skills. A driver's license for a manual transmission vehicle is required. You should also feel comfortable working in forensic psychiatry. Since work involving forensic psychiatry is included, we will request a background check as part of your employment.
