Service Engineer in Automation

Job Role As a Service Engineer, you are offered a varied role with great freedom under responsibility. In your role, you will work on improvements and service projects for existing production equipment in industrial operations, such as robot cells, assembly equipment, special machines, etc. You will participate in projects from the sales stage until the facility is commissioned and handed over to the customer. Examples of assignments as a Service Engineer: • Machine retrofitting • Machine and Production relocation • Control system replacements • Robot replacement • Robot service • Technical support You will be based in our Gothenburg office but will frequently visit customers. Our customers include both large and small companies across various industries, many of which are world-leading in their respective fields. You will work closely with colleagues in a strong team with high team spirit. Who are you? • Technical education in mechanics, maintenance, automation, or equivalent experience • You understand the importance of good customer relations • At least 5 years of experience in industrial automation • Experience in logical troubleshooting • Experience programming PLC systems from Siemens, Beckhoff, Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi, etc. • Experience with robot systems from ABB, KUKA, and others Meriting: • Experience in electrical design and machine safety • Experience with NC-controlled machining equipment • Mechanical experience We are seeking someone with significant technical interest and curiosity to learn more.
