About the Role

At the service office in Örebro, we have about 15 employees and are part of the Örebro office area. We focus on providing service, where you and your colleagues share a collective responsibility for your mission and learning. We actively work on continuous improvements, and it is part of the role to contribute to the development of the organization.

Main Responsibilities

As a customer service officer, you will provide quick and professional service by answering questions from individuals and businesses. A significant part of your work involves guiding customers to use the e-services of collaborative authorities and finding information on websites. In your role, it is essential that you listen actively, adapt your approach to the customer, and maintain a pedagogical mindset.

In your customer interactions, you will be supported by the various authorities' IT systems. In addition to an introduction and training, time is allocated each day for you to familiarize yourself with the information you need to stay updated on news and changes affecting the service office's operations. You may also be required to work at other service offices, sometimes with short notice.

Qualifications

You are driven to provide excellent service to our customers by identifying each customer's needs and offering answers or guidance. Since you work closely with customers, you must feel comfortable in direct interactions with individuals from diverse backgrounds and with varying abilities. In short, we are looking for someone who has a positive demeanor and an ability to quickly acquire new knowledge.

We are looking for someone who has:

  • A higher education degree of at least 80 credits/120 ECTS, or equivalent knowledge gained through work experience.
  • At least two years of experience in a service role where you have informed and guided customers during in-person meetings.

Furthermore, you should possess the following abilities:

  • Quickly establish contact with others in an objective and professional manner.
  • Identify customer needs by asking questions and listening actively.
  • Communicate verbally and in writing in Swedish.
  • Communicate verbally in English.
  • Adapt your working methods to the varying needs of customers.
  • Handle multiple customers simultaneously.
  • Contribute positively to the results and collaboration of the work group.

Additionally, it is advantageous if you:

  • Have experience with customer meetings within any of our collaborative authorities.

Other Information

The position is 100% and permanent. We typically apply a six-month probationary period. Start date negotiable. Remote work is not available. This position requires a successful security clearance in accordance with the Security Protection Act. As an employee, you may also be assigned in accordance with the needs of the total defense.
