Nordex Sweden is expanding the team for Service Technicians at the Fasikan service point. We are looking for electricians who are interested in working in an exciting and constantly developing industry. As a Service Technician, your main responsibilities will include fault-finding and maintenance of the turbines, with the following key tasks:
YOUR TASKS
• Analyze defects through phone contact with the service coordinator
• Perform simple repairs of turbines autonomously, including troubleshooting and fault-finding
• Collaborate with the Lead Technician to carry out complex repair processes
• Conduct planned maintenance and inspection activities with subcontractors
• Complete reports and checklists to fully inform the Local Operations Manager
• Inform customers in the event of work being carried out on the turbine
• Execute repairs or replacements of main components
• Check the inventory of spare parts stock and take responsibility for materials on site
• Monitor booked service reports and manage the service process to ensure expenses are recorded correctly
• Ensure that tasks are completed with high quality and on time
• Carry out tasks in the most economical manner for our company
• Be responsible for materials, tools, and property of Nordex
• Perform tasks in accordance with Nordex manuals and regulations
• Follow all health and safety related instructions and guidelines, ensuring safe practices for materials and personnel
YOUR PROFILE
• Electrical education at a vocational or higher level
• A minimum of three years of electrical experience
• Proficient in using computers (experience with Windows OS, Microsoft Office, and SAP is considered beneficial)
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
• Proficient communication skills in English
• A “can do” attitude and strong teamwork skills
• Flexibility in working hours and location
Additional Information:
• You must meet the physical demands of working on turbines, including working at heights and climbing
• English will be required on the job, as many instructions, training materials, and internal communications are available only in English
• The position may require occasional travel within Sweden and sometimes abroad
• You will report to the Local Operations Manager
