Do you want to drive the sales of innovative solutions for electrification and service? ABB Electrification Service is growing and is now seeking a Sales Specialist for our power service team. We offer you a unique opportunity to work with future technologies and create sustainable solutions for our customers in electrification. As a Sales Specialist, you will play a central role in our ambition to provide first-class service to our customers and help them optimize their electrical systems.
In the role of Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for sales and customer relationships within our power service area for your region. You will work closely with our customers to identify their needs and develop solutions that make their electrical systems more accessible, reliable, predictive, and sustainable. You will also collaborate closely with our internal team to ensure that we deliver high-quality services and products.
The position is based in Västerås, but as it is regional, other locations in the vicinity will be considered.
Role and Responsibilities
• Responsible for the sales of service products and solutions within electrical power distribution – from low voltage to high voltage installations – including maintenance agreements, upgrades, and lifecycle management.
• Build strong customer relationships and identify business opportunities through customer visits, needs analysis, and consulting, focusing on both new and existing customer segments.
• Design and negotiate customer-specific offers in collaboration with the bid engineer and/or sales manager, including technical and commercial aspects such as pricing, terms, and agreements.
• Plan and follow up on sales activities using ABB's approved tools, proactively manage the quotation pipeline, and suggest actions in case of lost orders.
• Support marketing and project execution through effective value propositions, administrative management of the sales process, and assistance to project managers as needed.

Your Background
• Relevant education in engineering, sales, or similar, or equivalent work experience.
• Several years of experience in sales within technical or industrial service, preferably in electrification.
• Experience in electrical power distribution (low voltage to high voltage installations).
• Strong business acumen and experience managing customer relationships at various levels.
• Good communication and negotiation skills in both Swedish and English.
• A goal-oriented and solution-focused attitude, as well as the ability to work independently and in a team.
• Since travel is included in the role, a valid driver's license (B) is required.

More About Us
You will be part of our Marketing and Sales department within Power Service, alongside salespeople, bid engineers, and spare parts salespeople. The rest of the organization consists of project managers, service coordinators, contract managers, administrative staff, and our service engineers who assist our customers on-site every day.
ABB Electrification Service has approximately 60 employees at ten locations across Sweden. We have a broad product range and help customers secure the availability of their installed base. Our customers are in the paper & pulp, steelworks, energy companies, electricity grid companies, water & sewage, chemicals, and mining industries.
