We are looking for an experienced server technician for an exciting assignment in the public sector. You will play a key role in the work of modernizing and upgrading the client's server environment, focusing on Windows Server and Active Directory. You will be employed by us at Poolia but will work on-site at the client’s location.
- Scope: 75% (part-time)
- Location: Central Stockholm, with the possibility of up to 50% remote work
- Start: As soon as possible
- Duration: Until February 28, 2026, with the possibility of extension for up to 6 months
About the position
We are seeking someone with solid experience in server operations and migrations in complex environments. In this role, you will:
- Replace existing domain controllers (Windows Server 2012) with new servers running Windows Server 2022.
- Upgrade the Domain and modernize features while enhancing security.
- Replace existing Microsoft Application Proxy servers with new servers based on Windows Server 2022.
- Ensure that migrations and proxy functions operate correctly.
Who are you?
We are looking for someone who has worked as a server technician for at least five (5) years. You have documented experience in:
- Active Directory and Windows Server infrastructure
- Upgrades and migrations within AD and Windows Server
- Microsoft Application Proxy
- Windows Defender for servers related to Microsoft Azure for security monitoring
