Serving Staff 70% to Ad Astra by Elite

We at Elite Hotels of Sweden have now opened our latest ambitious hotel venture – Ad Astra by Elite at the beautiful Snäckviken in Södertälje. Our first-class, international destination hotel with a premium approach is bringing the Riviera to Sweden, and the work of creating an authentic experience infused with influences from the Mediterranean jewels such as Italy and Southern France is well underway. The concept, inspired by the Mediterranean and the Riviera, includes a spectacular piazza with an accompanying orangery, several restaurants, bars, a cinema, activities, and entertainment. The hotel also features an extensive spa inspired by ancient Roman baths, complete with gardens and three indoor and outdoor pools. The spa, part of the company’s own spa concept Vana Spa, is the largest to date. In addition, the hotel offers twelve conference rooms as well as 161 rooms and suites in nine different categories. Located on the quay next to Snäckviken in Astra's former headquarters, Ad Astra by Elite is a tribute to the luxury, lifestyle, and culinary culture of the Riviera. The name is Latin for "to the stars," symbolizing Elite Hotels of Sweden's ambition for both the hotel and the level of service. We are now seeking part-time serving staff, 70%, for our various restaurant units and banquet facilities. We prefer candidates who have previously worked as waitstaff to apply for this position. We also value a background in hotels or previous experience in larger organizations with a fast pace and various departments. You possess a quality mindset and are a strong organizer with personality, integrity, and a good sense of humor. As a member of our serving staff, your focus will be on welcoming and serving our guests, both hotel and conference guests as well as external clients, ensuring hygiene, guest satisfaction, and efficiency during your shifts. As an individual, we appreciate a person who is humble, straightforward, and a receptive team player. You are flexible in your work style, able to quickly adapt to new situations and challenges. You can handle guests with a smile, even in a fast-paced environment, and you are social and pleasant. What matters to us is that you have a burning interest in hospitality, food, and beverage, that you are a team player interested in making everything work smoothly, and that you understand that the role of waiter/waitress is an important ambassadorial role where you represent all of Ad Astra by Elite. All our serving staff report directly to Ad Astra by Elite's head waiter and will work very closely with all colleagues throughout the hotel, particularly within Food & Beverage. Collaboration between the kitchen, dining room, bar, and other departments in the hotel is a core principle and a stated necessity to provide our bar, restaurant, and hotel guests with a memorable and unique experience.
