Recruiting Unit
The Air Base Security Company F 21 consists of two air base security platoons, a ground defense platoon, a sensor/countermeasure platoon, and a surveillance platoon that fulfills the task of IBSS (operational readiness protection force). The main tasks of the company are to train and deploy conscripts and to maintain and develop the capability to defend against ground-level air and ground threats.
Job Description
The main tasks of the platoon are:
• To detect, locate, and combat airborne systems through jamming and direct fire.
• To conduct airborne missions with drones.
• To develop methods for C-UAS (Counter-Unmanned Aircraft Systems) and UAV.
• To provide training in UAV and C-UAS.
Main Responsibilities
As a soldier in the sensor platoon, you will initially receive comprehensive training on the sensors and weapon systems utilized by the platoon. You will then specialize in a specific part of the chain – detecting, locating, and/or combating threats. Together with the platoon leadership, you will also develop means and methods for how the platoon will solve tasks in varying terrain and time conditions.
Your main responsibilities include:
• Developing means and methods for combating ground-level air threats.
• Exercises, operations, and missions, both nationally and internationally.
• Training the company and other parts of the wing.

Qualifications
• Approved military basic training
• Physical endurance and strength (at least 300 points in the multitest and a maximum of 12:00 minutes in the field test)
• Driver's license minimum B (manual transmission)
• Approved military security guard training
Personal Attributes
As a sensor soldier, you will handle various technical systems in different environments in your daily work. Therefore, we expect you to have a keen interest in technology, as a significant part of the job involves working with and learning different systems. We also seek candidates who have field experience, as the work often occurs under varying conditions, and you must be flexible and able to manage uncertainty with varying workloads.
Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
Meritorious
• Basic trained or previously employed in a similar position, such as security units, electronic warfare, or air defense
• Training on relevant UAV or C-UAV systems within the Armed Forces, such as UAV06, Wingman, Pitbull, and/or Wolfpack
• Training/experience with KSP88 or automatic cannon (20–40 mm)
• Military driving licenses, such as minibus, L/Tptgb, all-terrain vehicle, snowmobile, truck
• Experience in radar and/or air defense (including gun-based air defense)
Other
Employment Type: Fixed-term employment. The position is in accordance with the Armed Forces' agreement for group leaders, soldiers, and sailors (GSS/K). The Armed Forces applies a six-month probationary period for those not currently employed by the authority.
