Senior IT Operations Technician with a focus on Client Platforms

The IT Operations, IT Infrastructure, and IT Security unit is seeking several senior IT operations technicians to participate in the daily work of managing and maintaining the IT environment of the Prosecution Authority. As a senior IT operations technician, you will be part of a unit consisting of 50 employees across various technical areas. The unit is responsible for: - Ongoing operation and management of the authority's IT infrastructure, systems, and technical platforms - Staffing of on-call services 24/7 year-round - Second and third line support within our IT organization. Your tasks The work in the unit offers the opportunity to work with modern systems and tools in an IT environment with a strong emphasis on IT operations and IT security. Your main responsibilities will primarily involve the operation and management of the Prosecution Authority's IT infrastructure and technical platforms, which includes maintenance, installation, configuration, as well as advanced troubleshooting and remediation of the authority's IT infrastructure, technical platforms, and related support systems. Security considerations are well developed and are a natural part of the work. You will also work with daily operations, incident management, monitoring alerts, maintaining and ensuring operational availability, and be an integral part of the support chain that spans all technical areas, as well as participating in various projects. You will be a centrally located resource with a good overview of all systems and components to identify areas for improvement. Your qualities and qualifications We are looking for someone who has: - A high school diploma or equivalent education in IT as deemed relevant by the employer - Several years of well-documented work experience in the IT infrastructure area - A strong technical interest and understanding of fundamental IT technology - The willingness and ability to learn new generations of the current technical platform. You have specialized expertise in some of the following areas: - Automation with Scripts (PowerShell) - Virtualization (VMware, Nutanix, Containers, Podman, Kubernetes) - Operating Systems Server (Windows Server 2022 and version management) - Authentication (Kerberos, SAMLv2, OpenID-Connect) - Active Directory - Exchange, spam, and antivirus solutions (Fortimail, Fortisandbox) - Certificate solutions, Encryption, and Signing (PKI) - Database management (MS SQL) As a person, we want you to be: - Responsible and possess good collaborative skills - Attentive and relate to your surroundings smoothly with a positive attitude and approach - Structured, organized, and ensure quality in your work results - Solution-oriented and unpretentious - Articulate in both spoken and written Swedish and English. The position is a permanent employment with a 6-month probationary period. Testing may occur in the recruitment process.
