RESPONSIBILITIES
Job Duties
Vattenfall Services' clients include energy and network companies, industries, infrastructure companies, real estate companies, and contracting firms. The position involves designing electrical constructions for transformer stations, network stations, and hydropower plants. This may include everything from control systems, local power, relay protection, etc. You will work collaboratively in projects with project managers and other designers in electrical, mechanical, and automation fields.
They also work with service and maintenance of communication and control system equipment on distribution, regional, and transmission networks. As an Electrical Designer at Vattenfall Services, you will work on electrical designs in projects of varying sizes. The work includes everything from detailed drawings and updating documentation to new constructions. Here are examples of tasks/responsibilities that may be included depending on your current technical experience:
* Create complete electrical designs
* Design adaptations
* Facility design in CAD environment
* Review and redraw existing drawings
* Assume the role of design leader for projects if necessary
WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO
- Has several years of work experience with electrical power facilities and scheduling
- Holds a post-secondary education in electrical power or equivalent work experience in the field
- Has experience working with electrical power facilities 20-400 kV
- Possesses good knowledge of ElprocCAD and/or Elmaster, or similar electrical design tools
- Has strong proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
- Holds a valid driver's license (B category)
It is advantageous if you also have:
* Knowledge of relay protection philosophy, configuration, and experience in a CAD-based environment
* Experience mentoring junior electrical designers

Since the work involves complex issues, we also want you to be structured in your approach.
