Senior UX Designer

**Your Role** We are seeking a senior and methodical UX designer for our client. In this assignment, you will be responsible for the user experience of a new ordering and contract web portal – a system that will be crucial for managing travel bookings, travel monitoring, traffic capacity, and travel guarantee measures. You will be a key person in understanding user needs and translating these into structured concepts, UX flows, and validated design solutions. This assignment is suitable for you if you thrive in complex environments with many user groups and high demands for clarity, structure, and efficiency. **Your Responsibilities** In this role, you will: - Lead and drive the entire design process for a new web-based portal – from research to completed validated design. - Identify and analyze needs from multiple target groups, such as the ordering center, travel guarantee function, taxi suppliers, and internal operational roles. - Conduct user interviews, observational studies, usability tests, and other user-centered research. - Develop concepts, wireframes, UX flows, and prototypes in Figma at both conceptual and detailed levels. - Compile and communicate user insights to designers, developers, and other stakeholders. - Prioritize functionality in the system based on business needs and user-centered methods. - Work closely with the development team in an agile, cross-functional environment. - Ensure that the system supports efficient workflows for professional users with complex needs. **Qualifications (Mandatory Requirements)** To be considered for this assignment, you must have: - At least 6 years of full-time experience in UX design within the last 10 years. - At least 3 years of full-time experience in UI design within the last 6 years. - Documented experience of method-driven user-centered approaches in all parts of the design process from at least two assignments (minimum 1 year duration). - Experience in independently planning and executing entire design processes in at least two assignments. - Documented experience in developing and communicating user insights from at least three assignments. - Experience in prioritizing functionality using design methodology from at least three assignments. - Experience in developing and evaluating conceptual solutions concurrently from both user and business perspectives (at least three assignments). - At least 2 years of experience in design work within agile cross-functional teams. - At least 2 years of experience in prototyping in Figma, including usability testing with end users. **Desirable Experience** It is a significant advantage if you also have: - Experience in translating user needs into structured functional and non-functional requirements. - Experience in design work for work tools in at least one assignment with a duration of 1 year. - Experience in driving design work in the public sector with at least one assignment lasting a minimum of 1 year. **Location** Work will take place on-site at the client's location in Stockholm within a hybrid work model.
