ABOUT THE ROLE:
Our client is a global defense and security company operating in the aerospace, land, and naval defense sectors, civil security, and commercial aerospace technology. They are technically leading in many areas, and one fifth of their revenue is allocated to research and development. We are looking for a senior systems engineer for a broad role where you will work with technical requirements, system design, software architecture, and interaction design. You will be involved in the entire lifecycle of the development, operation, and decommissioning of systems and subsystems. In this role, you will participate in a newly established international project focused on creating next-generation computing technology within aviation, which means extensive collaboration with international customers on exciting projects.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO:
• Holds a relevant university degree in engineering, such as computer science, software engineering, or engineering physics & electrical engineering
• Has excellent proficiency in C++
• Possesses good knowledge of Python
• Has an interest in and good understanding of technology and software
• Has fluent knowledge of both Swedish and English, as both languages are used in daily work
WE CONSIDER IT A PLUS IF YOU HAVE:
• Previous experience as a systems engineer
• Experience in systems security, architecture, and design
In this recruitment process, significant emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. To succeed in this role, we believe you are a structured and methodical person with a strong ability to view things from a holistic perspective. The work is largely analytical and requires the ability to absorb large amounts of information and recognize relationships. As you will work closely with both other systems engineers and software developers, it is essential that you are communicative and collaborative.
ABOUT THE EMPLOYMENT:
This position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the current security requirements. For positions where our client has specific security classification requirements, citizenship may be a factor.
This is a consulting assignment, which means you will be employed by Friday.
