About this role

**Description** The project management support unit is a specialist department that provides advice and support to employees and managers within the administration, as well as, when needed, other departments regarding revenue and cost assessments at all stages of the urban development process. The unit also serves as decision support and follow-up support in designated projects/programs and processes. **Responsibilities** As a specialist focused on financial assessments, you will be responsible for participating in the development of processes and routines for early revenue and cost assessments and calculations. You will also contribute to establishing principles for handling uncertainty and risk in calculations and estimates, as well as creating routines for considering various types of investments in early stages. This will be achieved through ongoing updates of documentation, the development of templates, and by supporting and educating project managers within the development process. Additionally, you will participate in the management of processes and methods/models. In your daily work, you will support colleagues in various projects concerning financial and implementation issues. Work often takes place in project form with participants from different departments and companies, producing concept sketches for new developments that serve as a basis for planning applications. In this phase, it is crucial to assess the feasibility of proposals from a financial perspective and to identify issues that are critical for further investigation. **Qualifications** You hold a Master of Science in Engineering or a degree in construction engineering within civil engineering, road and water, or a related field, or another qualification that we assess as equivalent. We would prefer that you have extensive and broad experience in several areas within the construction and property sector; as a consultant, contractor, client, or developer. Previous experience with the development process is advantageous, particularly concerning revenue and cost assessments including risks and uncertainties. Knowledge of development and/or investment economics and implementation issues, as well as a good understanding of the market, is also an advantage. To succeed in this role, you need to have excellent knowledge of Excel and be comfortable working with parameters such as discount rates and timing of investments and revenues. You possess a good ability to assess revenues/costs in development projects/project developments and costs for infrastructure. You can effectively identify and analyze the core of a problem and propose possible solutions. You show interest in and collaborate on overarching issues to create added value. You take into account various sources of information and perspectives and can adapt others' ideas to your operations. You are capable of sharing information and ideas, both verbally and in writing. You express the essence of an argument clearly and effectively, adapting your communication to the audience, target group, and situation. You have the ability to work collaboratively with others to execute tasks and achieve goals. You understand the common mission, act accordingly, and contribute to the whole. **Conditions** Before a potential interview, you need to present a passport/national ID/person certificate issued by the Swedish Tax Agency, and possibly proof of residence permit if you have citizenship outside the EU/EES.
