About this role
At Iver, we are looking for a skilled Senior Security Analyst to join our SOC in Malmö/Stockholm. You will play a key role in delivering cutting-edge cybersecurity solutions to our clients. We value innovation and teamwork, and we are particularly interested in individuals who enjoy thinking outside the box and sharing their ideas. Are you our new colleague?
Strengthening our Nordic community
Iver is a leading Nordic full-service provider of IT services, with expertise in operations, professional IT services, cybersecurity, cloud, and innovation. Our services are crucial not only for our clients but also for the overall digitalization of society. Headquartered in Stockholm, Iver primarily operates in the Nordic region with a clear ambition to continue expanding. The company has a revenue of over 3 billion SEK and approximately 1,500 employees across 25 offices in the region. Within Iver's Managed Service Provider offering, Cybersecurity is a dedicated department focused on delivering specialized security services.
Your role at Iver:
As a Senior Security Analyst, you will be an important member of our cybersecurity team, responsible for advanced proactive monitoring, incident management, and serving as a dedicated point of contact for clients. In critical security incidents, you will guide clients with clear recommendations and help ensure that their environments remain resilient against new threats. In addition to your hands-on, client-facing work, you will contribute to developing the SOC to the next level by sharing your expertise and mentoring colleagues. This role provides the opportunity to directly shape how we deliver world-class security services.
Typical tasks:
• Monitor client environments, security platforms, and alerts to detect potential incidents, escalate, and guide clients through response and remediation.
• Lead investigations of advanced security incidents, conduct threat hunts, and mitigate risks in close collaboration with clients and internal teams.
• Collaborate with security analysts and security engineers to transform threat intelligence into reliable detections, fine-tune monitoring systems, and improve overall detection quality.
• Provide clients with clear, actionable security guidance through meetings, reports, and escalations, building trust and ensuring transparency.
• Support junior analysts, contribute to playbooks and procedures, and help shape the development of our cybersecurity services.
What makes this role unique:
Holding a senior position here means working on some of our most challenging and interesting issues while having a real influence on how we solve them. If you see a better way to do something, you will likely have the freedom to try it. This is a role for someone who enjoys delving into details, working practically with technology, and making things work better for the team and our clients without getting bogged down in administrative meetings.
What do we offer you?
At Iver, you will have the opportunity to work with the latest technology and be part of an exciting growth journey. We are inclusive and strive for genuine collaboration towards common goals. Iver offers fantastic development opportunities, and we are here to inspire you to achieve your professional goals. We support you when you want to learn more in your area of specialization, leadership, or new fields. At Iver, you are also part of an ambitious and innovative company, which means that improving, testing, evaluating, and daring to change our ways of doing things are vital ingredients for our development.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for someone with several years of experience in similar roles. You are self-driven, confident in your abilities, communicative, organized, humble, collaborative, and service-oriented. We prefer that you have extensive experience in several of the following areas:
• EDR/XDR/SIEM technology - Possibly with a focus on running on-premises options at scale.
• Automation – Insight into how automation can be used to effectively enhance efficiency and improve quality within the framework of MSSP service delivery, for example through a SOAR.
• Incident response – In terms of establishing incident response plans and coordinating response efforts. While this may vary depending on the candidate's other attributes, we strongly prefer if you can participate in our on-call rotation.
• Client engagement – Comfortable speaking with various levels of client resources and confident enough to guide them through their security journey by providing recommendations and suggesting alternative solutions based on their needs.
• Compliance – Some relevant frameworks include GDPR, NIS2, CIS18, PCI-DSS, and NIST 800-61. At least at a basic level, understand the importance and implications of Swedish, Nordic, European, and American geopolitical phenomena.
