Senior Security Coordinator/CISO - Focus on Information Security & Intelligence

We are now seeking a Senior Security Coordinator/CISO with a focus on information security and intelligence for our Security and Operations Department, located in Stockholm. You will function as CISO and be a key player in Teracom's information security work. We are looking for someone who has a genuine interest in and knowledge of security and security protection and who wants to contribute to a strong total defense. Teracom plays an important role in this development, and information security work is a priority for us. About the Position This newly created position within the Security Unit will be responsible for developing, directing, and monitoring the organization's information security work and leading Teracom's threat assessment and intelligence gathering efforts. As Senior Security Coordinator, you will be responsible for identifying and prioritizing essential aspects of information security work that create business value and provide relevant security impact. Creating enthusiasm and a good security culture in the organization regarding information security is a crucial part of the work. Teracom's ISO 27001 certification is a prerequisite and a tool in the work that you, as Senior Security Coordinator, are responsible for leading and coordinating. You will also be responsible for leading and developing Teracom's work in managing and analyzing threats and intelligence. Key Responsibilities and Duties - Responsible for requirements across the entire organization in areas related to information security. IT security-specific aspects will be led by IT Security Managers, with whom you are expected to collaborate closely. - Independently drive the development and implementation of information security work in a way that clearly creates added value for the business and overall security efforts. - Develop and coordinate the implementation of processes and methods to maintain the decided level of information security within the company. - Responsible for the scope and design of centrally issued governing information regarding information security. Ensure compliance with current external and internal requirements, specifically defined by Teracom's work with ISO 27001, NIS2 Directive, and other relevant legislation such as Security Protection legislation. - Participate in security assessments of individuals, systems, and organizations from an information security perspective when special needs arise. - With a broad competence in the security field, be part of the necessary operational redundancy in the Security and Operations Department, such as participating in incident management, personnel security matters, security screenings, and other security-related tasks. - Coordinate and lead the intelligence management function in Teracom's security organization. The position will drive the function and be responsible for providing security work with a basis for threat assessments in both security protection and business protection work. - Work includes gathering and analyzing intelligence through relevant collaboration partners and open sources. Formal Requirements - Security-focused college/university education or equivalent relevant security training. It is meritorious if the education also includes an orientation towards security policy and/or threat assessment from a political science or societal security perspective. - At least 5 years of experience working in an organization where information security and security protection issues are prominent, holding a CISO role or equivalent. - Good knowledge of ISO 27001 standard content and interpretation, NIS2 Directive requirements, legal requirements in the field, and information security law requirements. Additionally, good knowledge of security protection analysis and threat assessment is needed. - Class B driver's license - Certifications such as CISA, CISM, CISSP, etc., are meritorious. Personal Characteristics Personal suitability and commitment are extremely important to us. We need someone who is collaborative and communicative, able to communicate at both technical and management levels, adapting the message to the recipient. You have a well-developed ability to present information to groups and lead training/information and development meetings, and create enthusiasm. You are structured, result-oriented, and proactive, with a well-developed ability to interpret advanced information such as legal texts and define and formulate guiding information. Success in the role requires being collaborative, communicative, and able to lead people outside the organizational hierarchy. You have analytical skills to assess and analyze risks and incidents and possess high integrity. Additional Requirements - Employment requires passing drug and alcohol tests, background checks, and security screening with register control, as the position involves security classification. - Swedish or Nordic citizenship is required. - Some work time may be spent outside the home location, potentially requiring overnight stays. - Work outside regular working hours may occur.
