We are now seeking a senior accountant for an international corporation experiencing strong growth. The company operates within the manufacturing industry and is on an exciting transformation journey focused on creating efficient and modern financial processes.
As a senior accountant, you will have a broad and business-oriented role where you are responsible for accounting, reporting, and qualified analyses. You will play a crucial part in ensuring a stable finance function and providing professional support to management.
The position is part of a Shared Service team with several colleagues, and you will report to the Finance Director for Sweden. The role is based in central Stockholm.
Examples of responsibilities:
• Ongoing accounting, annual financial statements, and annual reports
• Preparation of interim financial statements
• Management of VAT and tax declarations
• Reconciliation of internal accounts and follow-up on discrepancies
• Reporting of balance sheets and income statements, including IFRS-related items
• Responsibility for fixed asset register and assessment of investments
• Qualified analyses and support for management
Qualifications:
• Academic degree in finance/accounting
• At least 5 years of experience in qualified accounting
• Strong skills in Excel and experience working with ERP systems
• Excellent proficiency in Swedish and English
• Experience from manufacturing companies is an advantage
• Basic understanding of IFRS is desirable
