About the Senior QA Engineer Role We are currently seeking a senior professional to strengthen our test and quality team. You will focus on test strategies and test design, as well as test execution with a focus on test automation. You will be an important part of a team and work on the following in your role: • Design, develop, and implement QA strategies covering different applications (Frontend and Backend) • Participate in requirements analysis and provide feedback on business requirements, usability, and performance • Define acceptance criteria • Create test cases in relevant tools • Prepare relevant test data • Update relevant databases for regression testing • Select and prioritize test cases for automation and collaborate closely with automation developers • Execute manual and automated tests • Coordinate and participate in integration tests • Document test results • Document and report identified quality deficiencies and work on proposals for their resolution • Ensure communication with project managers, business analysts, and operations • Conduct demo sessions and guide users during the UAT phase • Proactively support the quality manager in improvement work • Coach less experienced testers and coordinate team members and their work • Participate in release planning • Coordinate QA activities with third-party suppliers Your Previous Experience • Extensive experience in the testing domain • Work with test and test leadership tools and frameworks such as Robot Framework and Azure DevOps • Extensive knowledge of functional and non-functional testing, primarily test automation for APIs/web services and web applications • Strong knowledge of databases, SQL, and data management • Experience with integration testing • Experience with agile development methods and techniques • ISTQB certification at an advanced level is meritorious Experience in Banking/Finance, preferably with payment flows, is meritorious. Knowledge of German or French is also a plus. Since the role focuses on our banking customers in the European market, work in Europe during a startup phase is current.
