Senior IT Project Manager

Our client's IT department is seeking a project manager with a strong interest in IT workplace issues and the area of Contracts. The IT workplace service area delivers services to users from two authorities. The services include, among other things, video, computers, telephony, and collaboration tools. The projects may consist of: • Preparations for new and renewal of existing contracts • Procurement preparations and execution • Contract negotiations • Implementation of new and renewed contracts • Developing follow-up and pricing for service deliveries We are looking for a results-oriented individual who focuses on both team and personal performance. Job Description: • Establish the documentation for the project contract with the Project Owner, including specified product goals and targets for time and cost (budget). • Create budgets and project plans for each project phase and overall. • Continuously produce agreed-upon project follow-up. • Gather necessary documentation for decisions to the Project Owner/Steering Group. • In consultation with the Project Owner, organize and staff the project. • Ensure that project participants have the necessary competence, information, and support required to participate in the project. • Prepare documentation for project closure. • Conduct established project evaluation (lessons learned). Security Clearance: The client is subject to security protection legislation, which means that the assignment may be classified. This includes requirements for security clearance in accordance with the Security Protection Act (2018:585) Chapters 4, Sections 7-8. The estimated time for this process is 6-10 weeks but may take shorter or longer. Mandatory Requirements: • At least 10 years of work experience in project management • At least 5 years of experience leading procurements with budget responsibility within a larger organization or authority with at least 10,000 employees • At least 5 years of experience in a leading role in developing specifications and evaluation models for public procurements. • Work experience in preparing documentation for the project contract with the project owner, including specified product goals and targets for time and cost. • Work experience in preparing documentation for project closure and conducting established project evaluation (lessons learned). Desirable Qualifications: • Recent work experience in conducting financial analysis and pricing of IT services within an authority. • Recent work experience in implementing at least one procured contract within an authority. • Work experience with TBM (Technology Business Management). • Work experience in an authority with at least 10,000 employees. • Development of specifications and evaluation models for at least three public procurements within an authority. Scope and Conditions: This is a fixed-term full-time position from January 2, 2026, to December 30, 2026, with NXT Interim Stockholm AB, assigned to our client. The position is 40 hours per week with an option for extension. We apply collective agreements. This assignment needs to be primarily performed at our client's office in Sundbyberg, Stockholm, with the possibility of some remote work. Days and times for this will be determined based on the needs of the organization and with the approval of the client. We do not accept subcontractors for this assignment.
