About this role
**Your Role**
We are seeking an experienced and independent project manager in energy optimization who wants to work in a central and mission-critical role for one of our larger clients in property management. You will be part of the technical organization’s operations center and be a key person in planning, implementing, and following up on energy measures that contribute to achieving the organization’s strategic goals.

**Your Responsibilities**
**Planning**
- Plan the upcoming year’s energy work, where the adjustment of heating systems is a central part.
- Conduct needs assessments of properties and prioritize renovation and adjustment efforts.
- Prepare documentation and apply for project funding to initiate, implement, and complete energy projects.
**Implementation**
- Ensure and update project plans for all energy projects.
- Provide documentation and coordinate contractors to ensure smooth workflows.
- Administer and receive documentation after completed projects.
- Inform internally about ongoing and upcoming energy work.
- Follow up and report project finances in internal forums.
- Coordinate internal contacts, questions, and dependencies between operations, technology, and contractors.
**Development and Improvement**
- Develop routines, instructions, and contribute to technical investigations.
- Identify areas for improvement and contribute to increased efficiency in processes and methods.
- Ensure seamless collaboration between technology, management, contractors, and tenants.
**Goals for the Assignment**
Your work should lead to optimization measures being implemented on time, with high quality and the best possible results. You contribute to the organization achieving its overall goals, both strategically and operationally.
**Qualifications**
**Mandatory Requirements**
- Relevant higher education in energy systems or equivalent competence.
- At least 10 years of experience in operations/technical management, project management, or similar within the real estate industry.
- Very good knowledge of laws, regulations, contract law, and standards within HVAC and energy.
- Documented experience in project management of larger renovations and adjustments of heating systems in residential companies.
- Solid experience in large-scale projects related to hot water and heating system optimization.
- Experience with contractual issues related to energy requirements and verification.
- Very good knowledge of project finance, financial management, and investment calculations.
- Good IT skills and familiarity with digital working methods.
- Excellent ability to communicate verbally and in writing in Swedish and English.
- Driver's license B.

**Location**
The work will be performed on-site in Stockholm at the client's various offices, with the entire Stockholm area as the work zone. Some remote work is possible and will be planned together with the project manager.
**Timeline and Scope**
- Start: As soon as possible
- Scope: 40 hours per week (100%)
- Duration of the assignment: Ongoing consulting assignment
- Option for extension: Yes, up to 10 months
The candidate will be offered permanent employment with us after 12 months.
