Senior Project Manager – Data Hub and Data Governance Role Description We are seeking a senior project manager with extensive experience in strategic IT assignments to lead the development and implementation of a strategy for a data hub and a long-term framework for data governance. The assignment will be conducted in a hybrid environment, with work both on-site in Gothenburg and remotely, and requires solid experience in complex organizations, healthcare-related IT environments, as well as regulations such as GDPR, AI Act, and EHDS. Responsibilities • Lead the work to develop and implement the strategy and vision for a data hub. • Establish a long-term framework for how data should be managed, shared, and used. • Conduct a current state analysis, including mapping of data sources, integrations, and information flows. • Clarify roles and responsibilities for data owners, data producers, and data users. • Develop information models in accordance with relevant standards. • Design guidelines for data sharing, interoperability, security, and compliance with regulations such as GDPR, AI Act, and EHDS. • Create an implementation plan with activities, pilot initiatives, and scaling up. • Contribute to change management and skills development related to data management and governance. • Work closely with the steering committee, program team, and various stakeholders to ensure that the work follows established governance and project models. • Lead and support decision-making processes at the management level, including negotiations and agreements in the IT field. Requirements • At least twenty years of experience as a lead project manager for very large digitalization initiatives, supported by relevant reference projects. • Documented and strong experience in leading negotiations and agreements at the management level within IT. • Background as a senior manager in complex organizations with responsibility for IT environments related to the healthcare sector (at least one reference project). • Deep knowledge of data governance, information models, interoperability, and established standards. • Proven ability to lead extensive projects in data management, infrastructure, or digital development. • Experience with large-scale IT transformation projects, supported by references. • Many years of experience in strategic IT assignments within larger organizations. • Experience with agile methodologies and documented familiarity with driving change initiatives. • Familiarity with regulations such as GDPR, AI Act, and EHDS. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Swedish and English, along with experience in driving decision-making processes at the management level. • Ability to work both on-site and remotely (hybrid). • B driver's license if necessary for business travel. Preferred Qualifications • Experience in establishing data hubs, data platforms, or similar technical environments. • Experience in implementing IT solutions that impact work processes or organizational structure. • Certification in change management or equivalent documented competence. • Good understanding of how larger providers in the data and platform area operate.
