RESPONSIBILITIES Job Responsibilities The role of Senior Project Engineer involves overall responsibility for the planning, execution, and follow-up of complex infrastructure projects, with a particular focus on rail, road, and bridge construction in the Eastern Region. Your main responsibilities include, but are not limited to: - Responsibility for the project's finances and reporting, which includes forecasts, cost follow-ups, invoice management, as well as the preparation of quarterly and monthly reports and materials for risk and status reports. - Leading meetings and coordination by arranging, conducting, and taking minutes/notes at collaboration meetings and special risk meetings. - Ensuring that the project's baseline plans (project specifications, timelines, risk management in Exonaut, and control programs) are continuously managed and updated in collaboration with the project manager. - Managing project closures and procurement, such as compiling post-calculations, final reports, and documents for procurement. In addition, you will be involved in ongoing project planning and support the project manager with internal administration. This includes managing project documentation (e.g., in systems such as PP, IDA, Chaos, C7, and Agresso), controlling invoice approvals, compiling timelines, and managing orders through the ordering system. You will also participate in reviewing and following up on the quality of delivered documents, conduct information activities internally and externally, and provide support and potential backup for the project manager when needed. This role encompasses overall responsibility for the planning, execution, and follow-up of complex infrastructure projects, with a particular focus on rail, road, and bridge construction in the Eastern Region. WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO - Has documented experience working in a client-side project organization - Has practical experience with project portals such as IDA, Chaos, or equivalent systems - Has practical experience with CDI, C7, Agresso, and Exonaut - Has been active as a project engineer in the execution of at least one project from design to completed facility - Has been active as a project engineer in the preparation of at least two tender documents for contract procurement - Holds a bachelor's degree from a college or university with a technical focus - Has good knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project - Holds a valid driver's license (B category) - Is fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written It is advantageous if you have: - Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations within infrastructure - Experience working in the Eastern Region - Developed your own solutions for more efficient project execution To succeed in this role, you possess the following personal qualities: - Independent - Structured - Analytical - Creative - Social OUR RECRUITMENT PROCESS This recruitment process is managed by Academic Work, and our client's request is that all inquiries regarding the position be sent to Academic Work.
