About the RoleThe unit in Karlskoga is experiencing significant expansion, which places higher demands on a disruption-free and efficient production from a production technology perspective. As a senior production technician, you will have a central role in our operation. You will serve as strategic production technical support for our production, product and contract offices, as well as procurement and quality. You will also participate in and be responsible for production technical documentation and production conversions.
Additional responsibilities include:
• Participate as a key resource in projects concerning capacity increase and drive these activities within the production technology area
• Initiate investments for capacity increase regarding investment projects and changes in existing machinery
• Optimize and balance production flows within your area of responsibility
• Establish layouts and document efficient production flows
• Drive production technical improvements related to quality, environment, work environment, efficiency, and safety
• Be responsible/participate in the development of processes, equipment, and machines
• Contribute to the development of process plans for manufacturing, tools, equipment, and machines
• Participate in inquiry, order, development, and product care projects within the product segment
• Lead and coordinate external and internal resources in production technical tasks/projects
The role belongs to our technology department, which has a relatively new organization but where experience exists among colleagues. Collaborating in the team and supporting each other when needed is a matter of course in the expansive phase we are currently experiencing. Your location will be Karlskoga, and you will report to the Technical Manager. Travel may be required.
Our CandidateWe are seeking someone with a technical education, preferably at college/university level, and several years of experience in production technology work in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the defense or explosives industry. As we operate in an international environment, good knowledge of Swedish and English in speech and writing is required. Swedish citizenship is mandatory.
