About this role

Overview MachineGames is seeking an experienced and talented Senior Producer to strengthen its team. In this role, you will directly report to our Executive Producer and work closely with other producers and stakeholders to ensure smooth day-to-day development. To excel in this position, we believe you are a proactive professional who enjoys taking responsibility and sees projects through with a keen interest in the technical aspects of game development. Our studio headquarters is located in central Uppsala, Sweden, a small and vibrant city 40 minutes north of Stockholm, the capital. It boasts a historical heritage dating back to pre-medieval times. MachineGames also has a satellite office in central Sundsvall, a beautiful city in northern Sweden. Our studio is characterized by a down-to-earth approach, free from big egos. We will support your relocation and/or work permit application if you are not an EU citizen and/or not currently residing in Sweden. Responsibilities • Manage day-to-day development and timely delivery of large sections of major AAA projects. • Coordinate cross-departmental team members to deliver game features. • Work across production units to identify and understand external dependencies. • Identify and predict production challenges, develop solutions, and implement them. • Collaborate with directors, discipline leads, and producers to define milestone goals. • Potentially supervise and delegate work to Associate Producers. • Establish and maintain sprint schedules and product backlogs. • Track, communicate progress, and resolve sprint-related issues. • Develop and maintain short- and long-term capacity planning methods. • Coordinate approvals from creative and technical leads. • Organize gameplay/focus test sessions (internal and external). • Regularly communicate with publisher's development and QA teams. • Maintain daily communication with development team members. • Coordinate and document development meetings. Qualifications • Prior experience in a AAA studio. • Proven track record of successful production management. • Experience in multiple videogame development cycles from concept to release. • Expertise in overseeing diverse team types across game development disciplines. • Comfortable managing gameplay-focused and content-focused teams. • Outstanding organizational and time management skills. • Demonstrable experience in modern game development processes. • Solid technical knowledge of computer hardware and software. • Excellent oral and written communication skills. • English-language CV required.
