As a senior process engineer, you will be a vital link between our manufacturing plants and R&D. About the role
As a process engineer, you will gain a unique overview of our chemical products throughout the manufacturing campaigns. In the production department, you will work closely with engaged colleagues from various functions, where your sense of responsibility and ability to leverage both your own and the team’s expertise are crucial for achieving common results.
Based on process and method descriptions, you will develop the instructions required before and during manufacturing. You will follow the products through the process, often on-site at the factory, and continuously investigate issues related to product and process. The focus is on ensuring a customer- and project-oriented development with the highest standards of safety and quality.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Designing factory processes based on methods from our chemists in R&D
• Preparing and conducting safety reviews in collaboration with other functions
• Creating and managing change requests
• Identifying and implementing continuous process improvements
• Supporting factory personnel with process-related inquiries
• Defining equipment requirements for new and modified processes
• Investigating and preventing deviations in production
• Leading technical and process-related investigations
• Participating in qualifications and validations
• Leading and executing improvement projects
We are located in the Björkborn industrial area in Karlskoga.
Our candidate
We are looking for someone with a Master’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably with a focus on chemical engineering, technical biology, or similar fields. You have at least two years of experience in a similar role within the process industry, and it is advantageous if you have worked in a cGMP-regulated environment.
You are a team player who enjoys project work and collaborates across functions. As a person, you are analytical, structured, and can easily handle complex information and translate it into clear documentation. For this role, you must be able to communicate fluently in both Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.
