Assignment Description: We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our dynamic team. What you will work on: • Perform detailed mechanical and piping design for projects and maintenance activities, primarily supporting the Decommissioning Department. • Redesign existing facility components and systems for decommissioning purposes. • Design and dimension piping systems and mechanical components in accordance with applicable standards and specifications. • Produce design documents using design tools, converting them into PDF and DWG/STEP formats for customer review and delivery. • Maintain and update the Design Database and relevant plant documentation. • Collaborate closely with strength engineers, process engineers, and other disciplines to ensure cohesive and integrated design solutions. • Conduct on-site analysis and measurements at customer facilities; partial remote work possible during CAD design phases. What you bring: • Engineering degree in Mechanical, Nuclear, or Energy Technology, or a closely related field. • Proven CAD experience (e.g., AutoCAD or SolidWorks). • Good knowledge of process components such as valves, pumps, and heat exchangers. • Experience in the nuclear or process industry and familiarity with project-based work. • Strong personal attributes: accurate, analytical, creative, driven, and communicative. • Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to work independently and on-site when required. • Fluent in English and Swedish.
