Senior Requirements Leader

Assignment Period: February 27, 2026 – February 27, 2027 Scope: 100% Location: Sundbyberg (50% remote work opportunity) Option: Possibility to extend annually for a total of up to 4 years Security Clearance: Mandatory We are looking for an experienced Requirements Leader who wants to contribute to an organization with significant change needs, complex IT environments, and critical societal processes. You will be a central part of development projects that support operations, marketing, and planning in a rapidly changing energy landscape. In this role, you will work closely with business experts and technical roles to ensure that the requirements in the projects are clear, anchored, and lead to quality-assured deliveries. About the Assignment You will work on projects with significant IT impact where requirements management is crucial for creating robust, purpose-driven, and future-proof solutions. The projects encompass both custom-developed systems and the implementation of standard solutions. The assignment requires you to lead, structure, and follow up on the entire requirements work—from initial planning to verified functionality in production. Examples of Responsibilities • Develop and drive an overarching plan for requirements gathering • Conduct workshops and structure functional and non-functional requirements • Document requirements according to standardized models and templates • Anchor and communicate requirements with various stakeholders • Collaborate with architects, development teams, and testing functions • Ensure requirements coverage in testing work and assist in test planning • Contribute to the development of requirements processes, methods, and common working practices • Participate in information modeling and provide support in architectural decisions • Potentially contribute in related roles such as test management or architectural support This role is suitable for you if you thrive in complex environments and want to work in a context where IT, processes, and critical societal functions intersect. Requirements Profile You possess high competence, are self-driven, can lead parts of projects, and have extensive experience in similar assignments. Mandatory Requirements • University degree in computer science, informatics, electrical/computer engineering, or equivalent • (alternatively, 9 years of relevant experience) • At least 9 years of experience in requirements specification • Experience in requirements analysis from requirements gathering to implemented functionality in production • At least 5 years of experience in requirements analysis in projects with multiple stakeholders and at least two integrated IT systems • Experience in requirements specification within agile development teams • At least 5 years of experience in developing and documenting processes and workflows during IT changes • At least 5 years of experience in business and information architecture • At least 5 years of experience working with requirements tools such as Azure DevOps or Jira Desirable Requirements • At least 5 years of experience in UX design or usability work • At least 5 years of experience in test management and developing test cases • At least 2 years of experience from the energy market or electricity sector • At least 5 years of experience working according to SAFe or other agile methodologies • Certification in IREB, REQB, or equivalent is a merit Workplace and Conditions • Placement in Sundbyberg, with approximately 50% remote work opportunity • Travel may occur as needed, for example, to partners and suppliers • Security clearance and background check are mandatory • The consultant works full-time, and equipment will be provided Soros Consulting This assignment is managed by Soros Consulting, a consulting company specializing in qualified assignments within community-related operations and complex IT environments.
