Marks Municipality is looking for someone who sees opportunities where others see limitations.

We are at a crossroads. Our communications unit needs to evolve from reactive to strategic, from traditional to innovative. This requires someone who dares to challenge, test new approaches, and drive change – even when the entire picture is not yet complete.

Assignment

You will become the project leader for the municipality’s digital communication channels (web and intranet) and a driving force in our branding team. This means that you will:

  • Drive digital development – from needs analysis to management plans and innovative solutions.
  • Think strategically about how we use digital channels to strengthen democracy, service, and trust.
  • Create and test new communication approaches – you are fearless when it comes to experimentation.
  • Lead workshops and processes that encourage others to think innovatively.
  • Quickly and accurately formulate messages, even when circumstances change.
  • Collaborate closely with the brand strategist, project specialist, and other team members.
  • You do not need to be an expert in everything – but you must be curious, attentive, and eager to learn.

Qualifications

Essential:

  • Experience in strategic communication and/or digital development.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Courage to challenge established patterns.
  • Communicative skills – both in writing and in meetings.
  • Fluent Swedish, both spoken and written.
  • Experience with web, digital channels, or UX/service design.

Desirable:

  • Understanding of how the public sector/municipalities function (but not a requirement!).
  • Experience in workshop facilitation or change management.
  • Background from sectors other than municipal administration.
  • Diversity in perspectives and experiences.
