🌟 About the Role
Want to help develop business-critical IT solutions for one of Sweden's most important government agencies?
EDGE Associates is now seeking a Senior Java Developer for our team - you'll be employed by us and start directly on an assignment with one of our public sector clients, working on developing a European Digital Identity Wallet (EUDIW). The concept of the identity wallet is to enable EU citizens to manage digital versions of various certificates, proofs, and credentials such as ID cards, driver's licenses, and professional licenses.
🛠️ Qualifications
We're looking for someone who has:
✔️ At least 5 years of Java development experience
✔️ At least 3 years of experience developing in Linux environments
✔️ At least 3 years of microservice architecture experience
✔️ Experience with Quarkus, Springboot, or similar frameworks
✔️ Good knowledge of Git, Maven, and similar modern tools like Gradle
✔️ At least 5 years of agile team collaboration
✔️ Excellent Swedish and English skills, both spoken and written
Bonus qualifications include:
➕ At least 2 years of development experience in KPI, certificate management, cryptographic security functions, HSM usage
➕ At least 1 year of basic app or frontend programming knowledge
➕ At least 1 year of experience building, operating, and monitoring systems in containerized environments like Kubernetes, Openshift, or similar
➕ At least 1 year of experience with SAML2, OpenID family, or OAuth 2.0
➕ At least 1 year of knowledge about SQL databases, NoSQL databases, and cache solutions
➕ At least 1 year of experience with Kafka or similar asynchronous message queues
➕ Experience developing open-source software
