The Swedish Defense Research Agency (FOI) is a government agency conducting world-leading research in defense and security to support Sweden's military and civil defense. Our research spans multiple areas, including underwater technology, cyber defense, space, electronic warfare, sensor systems, civil defense, CBRNe (chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear, and explosive substances), military platforms including weapons and protection, and security policy analysis. About the Position As a senior IT project manager, you will have the opportunity to contribute to world-leading research that strengthens Sweden's defense and security. About the Department You will be part of the IT organization belonging to the Research Support division. Do You Have the Competence Profile We Need? Requirements Academic education in IT or equivalent experience. Several years of experience leading complex projects from start to finish. Interest in and ability to lead specialists. Good communication skills and ability to express yourself well verbally and in writing in Swedish and English. We have research in multiple locations, so you need a B driver's license. Meriting Factors Experience with IT requirement specification and procurement. Experience with agile working methods. Personal experience with system development, system management, or IT operations.
