About the Role
Group Internal Audit is an independent and objective function that evaluates, proposes, and follows up on improvements regarding the effectiveness of Vattenfall's risk management, internal controls, and governance processes across the entire group. Group Internal Audit conducts internal audits and investigations to improve and add value to Vattenfall's operations. The department helps Vattenfall achieve its goals by applying a systematic approach to evaluate and advise on improvements. Group Internal Audit reports observations and recommendations to business management, group management, and the board's audit committee.
Your Responsibilities:
Your primary tasks will involve conducting internal audit assignments and investigations. Audit assignments are performed in teams, and as a team leader or member, you will be involved in all phases of the assignment, from planning to reporting results to management. In audit assignments, you will risk-based evaluate and challenge existing working methods in the processes being reviewed. You will help identify needs and propose improvements in the effectiveness and appropriateness of internal processes and the robustness of internal controls to contribute to improving Vattenfall's operations.
In addition to audit assignments, you will also be involved in investigations of events reported to the whistleblower function.
Since Group Internal Audit covers the entire Vattenfall group, you will have the opportunity to gain insights into various business areas and excellent opportunities for further learning and development.
You will report directly to the Director of Internal Audit Nordic.
Requirements:
We are seeking someone who:
• Holds an academic degree in business administration, engineering, IT, or other relevant subjects
• Fluently speaks and writes Swedish and English
• Has at least 7 years of experience in internal auditing or process reviews
• Is, or has the ambition to become, a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) and/or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
• Experience working with internal audit in a complex, international, and diversified organization is meritorious.
To succeed in the role, you as a person need to be driven and relationship-building. You are reliable and have strong integrity, which we see as fundamental. Furthermore, you are curious, appreciate exploring new areas, and can constructively challenge existing working methods and processes. Good analytical skills and the ability to assess significance in both the overall picture and details are, of course, essential.
Additional Information:
The position is based in Solna. Since Group Internal Audit covers the entire Vattenfall group, regular travel to Vattenfall's other operational locations is expected.
