Senior Gameplay Programmer

10 Chambers is a fully funded scale-up game studio backed by Tencent and based in the beautiful city of Stockholm, Sweden. We are an ambitious, creative, and collaborative team with a lifelong love for games. We are currently working on our next project, a cooperative heist FPS in a techno-thriller setting - Den of Wolves. Originated and directed by Ulf Andersson, the game designer of Payday 1 & 2. We are looking for an experienced Senior Gameplay Programmer with a focus on Level Tech to help us realize the design of our projects. As a senior gameplay programmer at 10 Chambers, you will bring your experience and expertise to prototype, iterate, and finalize features in a small and creative team. At 10 Chambers, we work in Unity and C#, which we find provides a great balance between creative power, development speed, and quality. What you’ll do: • Build and maintain the level generation pipeline and associated tooling used by the Level Design team to create levels and missions. • Build and maintain gameplay and system logic related to mission progression: objectives, puzzles, graph tools, etc. • Build and maintain level-related tech such as doors, enemy spawning, AI, lighting, and level streaming. • Support the Level Design team with any tech-related issues. Required Qualifications: • 6+ years of gameplay programming experience. • High level of experience in designing and implementing gameplay systems and tools. • Demonstrated expertise in C#. • Experience with Unity. • A great understanding of how to iterate to reach the design goals. • Strong collaboration skills. • Excellent command of English (Swedish is not a requirement). Bonus Qualifications: • Experience with ECS Architecture. • Experience with Procedural Generation.
