Senior Embedded Developer – Jönköping

Your role with us As a senior embedded developer, you will be a key player in technology-intensive projects where performance, security, and reliability are central requirements. You will take a leading role in development, contribute your experience, and support both clients and colleagues in complex challenges. Our assignments take place both in-house at our own facilities and on-site with clients in teams—always grounded in community and knowledge sharing. You will work with: • Programming in C/C++ for embedded systems and real-time systems • Low-level development such as drivers, protocol stacks, or bootloader logic • Systems with RTOS, embedded Linux, or bare-metal • Communication via e.g., UART, CAN, SPI, Ethernet, I2C • Automation and scripting in Python • Testing at the unit, integration, and system levels We are looking for someone who: • Has at least 5 years of experience in C/C++ development for embedded systems • Is well-versed in real-time requirements and system-level development • Has experience with hardware-near work and a strong interest in technology • Is curious, driven, and enjoys collaborating in technology-focused environments • Has experience in, or a strong interest in, energy, defense, or consumer products It is a plus if you have experience with: • Safety-critical environments (ISO 21434, A-SPICE, DO-178C) • Requirements management and traceable development in regulated industries • Agile methods such as Scrum and Kanban • Testing with HIL, VIL, or MIL • End-to-end responsibility in the development cycle Why Knowit Connectivity?
