Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Embedded Security Developer to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
• Design, develop, and test embedded software in C++ for real-time and safety-critical systems.
• Implement and evaluate security mechanisms such as authentication, encryption, secure boot, and key management.
• Contribute to secure software architecture through threat modeling, risk analysis, and security design reviews.
• Integrate and test security features within software platforms, ensuring compliance with system and safety standards.
• Participate in code reviews, continuous integration, and automated testing to maintain high software quality.
• Collaborate closely with product owners, system architects, and DevOps teams in an agile development environment.
What you bring:
• Master’s degree in Engineering or equivalent in Computer Science, Electronics, Mechatronics, or IT Security.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience developing C/C++ software for embedded systems.
• Strong understanding of real-time systems, embedded Linux, RTOS, or microcontroller platforms.
• Proven experience with cybersecurity in embedded environments, including:
• Encryption (AES, RSA, ECC), Secure boot and secure firmware updates, HSM / TPM / PKI
• Secure communication protocols (TLS, IPsec, CANsec)
• Proficiency with tools for static code analysis, CI/CD pipelines, and test automation.
• Experience working according to ASPICE, ISO 26262, or ISO/SAE 21434 standards is a strong asset.
Meritorious:
• Experience from the automotive or defense industry.
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker), Yocto, Python, or scripting for testing and integration.
• Interest in emerging technologies, startups, and new mobility business models.
• Swedish language skills (spoken and written) are meritorious but not required.
